It has become our base of operations for fishing the Kern River and its tributaries.

 
We discovered Alta Sierra in September of 1999, after years of windsurfing at Lake Isabella and fishing in the Kern River. At nearly 6000 feet, the weather is usually very pleasant in the Spring, Summer, and Fall.
